Introduction: Our Discussion Events Programme in Berlin

With its approximately 60 discussion events in Berlin, the Schwarzkopf Foundation reaches more than 6000 pupils and young adults per year. We invite decision-makers from politics, economics and civil society, scientists and media-makers to discuss current issues and general questions concerning Europe with our young audience. This year, the upcoming elections will of course be one important theme. Along with them come discussions on related issues like populism, dealing with and responsibility of the media, the role of newer communication channels and the parties’ goals regarding European politics.

We also talk about the current situation in other countries and are happy to invite you to events with experts on politics and media in the US and on Turkey and its relations to the EU.
