The EU and young people - Online talk with the EU youth coordintor

Since June 1, 2021, there has been, for the first time, an EU Youth Coordinator in the person of Biliana Sirakova. The creation of this new position is one of the central points of the EU Youth Strategy, which aims to support young people to engage and become active citizens involved in democracy and society. To this end, we are pleased to welcome the EU Youth Coordinator as a guest for an online talk on May 26, 2023.

The questions that we want to discuss with you and Mrs. Sirakova include, among others: What does the EU do for young people? What opportunities are available to them? Why does the EU care about youth participation? What are the main results of the European Year of Youth? What should be the next steps and priorities in youth policy?
