What is this workshop about?
This workshop introduces the topic of press freedom from an international perspective and shows why it is a central element of democratic societies. Methods from global education and interactive visual materials are used to bring into focus the international differences in press freedom, addressing the consequences of the lack or limitation thereof. The digital workshop offers space for discussion and a critical engagement with the topic. The target group for this workshop are young people aged between 14 and 18.
