We are pleased to invite you to the traditional Konrad Adenauer Foundation Europe Speech at the Allianz Forum on 9 November at 6 pm. This year’s Europe Speech will be held by the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola. Ms Metsola, who is committed to a united and modern Europe, will give impulses for a future-proof Europe during her Europe speech and answer questions from the audience afterwards.
In addition, young Europeans will present their innovative ideas from the „KAS Makerthon Europe“. This creative ideas competition gives committed individuals from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to work together to find original solutions to European issues of the future. Unlike traditional „hackathons“, the focus is on social and creative approaches.
On 9 November, the audience will vote for the most innovative idea, and one person from the winning group will get the chance to take part in the panel discussion with President Metsola as well as Philipp Lahm, chief organiser for Euro 2024. The event will be moderated by journalist and Tagesthemen presenter Aline Abboud.
