  • Young European Security Conference 2025

    On February 27 and 28, 200 young people from across Europe will meet in Berlin to attend a programme focusing on a wide range of topics connected to security policy – such as technology, environment, transatlantic relations, democracy and resilience. At a time when international conflicts and security policy issues are becoming increasingly relevant, we want to give young people the opportunity to engage intensively with these issues, strengthen their skills and make their perspectives heard. You can apply until the end of January.

  • Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya receives Schwarzkopf Europe Award

    Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya is being awarded the “Schwarzkopf Europe Award” for her ongoing commitment to and fight for a democratic basic order in Belarus. Since the election in 2020, Tsikhanouskaya has continued to work towards this goal as Chair of the United Transitional Cabinet in exile. She is honored by a jury of “Young Europeans of the Year”, winners of another award of the Schwarzkopf Foundation. The laudatory speech at the award ceremony tonight in Berlin will be given by Reem Alabali-Radovan, Minister of State at the German Chancellary.

  • Launch of the Inge Deutschkron Award

    The newly initiated Inge Deutschkron Award honors the life's work of Inge Deutschkron, honorary citizen of Berlin, author and Holocaust survivor, and promotes the commitment of young people to an active culture of remembrance and against anti-Semitism, racism and exclusion. It is awarded by the Inge Deutschkron Foundation in cooperation with the German Resistance Memorial Center and the Schwarzkopf Foundation Young Europe.

  • 100th International Session of the European Youth Parliament

    From July 20 to 28, the European Youth Parliament (EYP) is hosting its milestone 100th International Session in Thessaloniki, Greece. Marking 37 years of youth-led civic education, the event will bring together 250 young people from 37 countries to form policy proposals, engage with experts and speakers, and connect through social and cultural activities.
